General
Shipping Information
Orders for in-stock merchandise ship within 24
hours. Freight will be added at the time of order. If item shows no
weight, we will contact you. We will contact you if the shipping exceeds
this estimated shipping charges upon order. Exact freight quotes are
available. Items shipped directly from the factory will be F.O.B. from
their factory location. Please note the normal shipping does not include
lift gate service or inside delivery. Be sure to have enough help
available to assist with unloading freight line shipments. Lift-gate
and/or inside delivery service may be added for an additional fee.
Residential and COD delivery may be available at an additional fee. Please
notify us if shipping to residential home.
Return Policy and Instructions
Non-stock items and items shipped direct from
the factory are subject to the manufacturers' restocking fee.
No returns will be accepted without the express
authorization of Metro Supply & Equipment Co, and then only for
damaged goods. Returns must be in original packaging or cartons. No cash
refunds will be made. All equipment will be covered by manufactures
warranty. Once equipment is installed and startup performed, original
equipment manufactures warranty is in force. Service and inspection will
be preformed by warranty repairs service of manufacture. Service calls on
equipment without authorization or service calls made and not covered
under warranty, customer will be responsible for service call. All
equipment should be installed & connected by licensed & qualified
commercial equipment installers. Returns can not be made due to
under-sizing of equipment. Customers order constitutes agreement of these
terms. New and unused stocked items may be returned (in the original
cartons) within 5 days of the invoice date. Returns due to customer
negligence or error will be subject to a restocking fee upon inspection of
the item. Used and special order items may not be returned. A new
and unused item that appears to be inoperable, but has no apparent damage,
is considered defective. If the defective merchandise is used, our
customer service department can assist you in contacting the manufacturer
for warranty repair or replacement. Please contact our customer service
department to obtain a return authorization number before returning any
item. All returns must be freight prepaid. Returns sent C.O.D. will be
refused.
Freight Damage
The freight line or delivery service is responsible for
any loss or damage. You are responsible for inspecting all shipments for
any shortage or damage before the driver excepting delivery. Note any loss
or damage on the delivery receipt before signing for the shipment. If
concealed damage is discovered, you must save all cartons and packaging
and request an inspection from UPS, Federal Express, or the appropriate
trucking company immediately. Damage must be reported within 5 days. Do
not return damaged merchandise to without authorization. This will waive
your right to file a claim or receive proper credit for the item.
Notice: Freight Line Shipping
Terms.
When your package arrives, check it thoroughly. By signing
the freight
bill clean, you acknowledge that the items and
merchandise being delivered
is properly packaged and is in good
physical condition. Make notes on the
freight bill detailing any
damage noted. All claims for damage must be made
directly to the
freight company and are not the responsibility of Metro
Supply
& Equipment Co. Verify that there is no concealed damage. Open
all
cartons before accepting delivery to verify that there is no
damage.
It is not the carriers' responsibility to bring all
merchandise to the end
of the truck for the customer to unload.
They may or may not help bring the
merchandise inside the
building. Inside delivery and lift gate services must
be chosen
upon ordering. If liftgate option is not available upon
checkout,
please contact us.
If nobody will not be at the
shipping address to accept delivery of your
product, you should
consider shipping the item to an address where someone
you trust
will be available to sign for your package. Please note that
we
are not able to adjust the shipping address once a package has
shipped.
If a freight company attempts a delivery, and is unable
to due to reasons
that are under the customers control,
re-delivery fees may apply.If an order
is canceled after delivery
or you refuse delivery of goods, you will be
responsible for
round trip freight of the merchandise plus any
restocking,
applicable storage, and restocking fees.
Warranty & Installation
All equipment should be installed & connected by
licensed & qualified commercial equipment installers, to insure
warranty coverage by manufactures. Installation by any other may result in
loss of manufacture's warranty. If you have any questions on installation,
please contact the manufacture for installation proceedures. Return all
original warranty registration cards or complete all warranty registration
proceedures per manufacture's requirements. Please contact manufactures
for any questions.
International Shipping:
All equipment should be installed & connected by
licensed & qualified commercial equipment installers, to insure
warranty coverage by manufactures. Installation by any other may result in
loss of manufacture's warranty. All warranty coverage is subject to the
manufacture's warranty. Please contact manufacture for warranty
coverage.
No returns on shipments outside of the United States
and/or on Special Voltage Types for International Shipping. No returns
will be accepted without the express authorization of Metro Supply &
Equipment Co, and then only for damaged goods. Metro Supply is not under
terms of responsibility for freight damage during shipments. Damage due to
freight shipping must be claimed by the customer, through freight company.

Manufactures for warranty coverage on International shipments outside the

Important information:
Please note that our international customers are responsible for all
import duties/tariffs, customs/brokerage and other fees associated with
the order. All international orders are based on International Standard
FOB (Freight On Board) terms with prepaid shipping conditions. Remember
that because we cannot be responsible for the delivery and customs of
other countries, all orders must be sent at customer's
risk.
Invoices and shipping lists WILL be packed with international orders.
You may or may not be subject to
duties or import taxes on your purchases--we will not include invoices with false
information.
